Volunteer

Do you love music? And festivals? And Hartford? We are looking for you! The Women Composers Festival of Hartford needs a few good volunteers to help with our annual Festival in March and with other events during the year. All volunteers receive free admission to the Festival, including concerts, presentations, and workshops. We look forward to hearing from you!

The WCFH Board accepts inquiries year-round from individuals looking to join our team. If you are interested in serving on our Board and have previous experience on nonprofit boards or in grant writing, festival production, educational programming, marketing, design, or publicity, please email womencomposersfestivalhartford@gmail.com.

The Women Composers Festival of Hartford promotes the music of contemporary and historical women composers.

The WCFH embraces diversity of race, ethnicity, and ability, and empowers artists from underrepresented groups who identify as women, including transgender and gender-fluid individuals, women of color, indigenous groups, LGBTQ, and the differently abled. We warmly invite and welcome all attendees. Our annual Festival is accessible for all those with mobility, visual, and/or hearing impairments.

The Americans with Disabilities Act Grievance Procedure:
Complaints concerning discrimination on the basis of disability by the Women Composers Festival of Hartford may be sent to our ADA Coordinator at womencomposersfestivalhartford@gmail.com. Our ADA Coordinator will contact the complainant within 15 calendar days after receipt of the complaint to discuss the matters raised in the complaint, and will respond in writing within 15 days of the discussion.
